There's a post in the "Bulletin Board" about our first project, creating a binder. Here is what mine looks like:

This is just an example. Make yours however you like. Here's another example:

If you have already made one, consider posting a picture so we can see how you did yours!

I will definitely be updating some things in mine, now that we have this group, and then posting pictures. Would everyone be willing to send each other addresses? If you'd like, I would be happy to collect them all and mail them out, and add people as they join the group, to help lessen your load, Erin. Maybe we could include birthdays and anniversaries so that we can send each other mail as we desire!?!?

Erin and Joyce - I got both your e-mails. As I get more, I'll set the spreadsheet up. I think I'll add the interests that people have posted on here as well. What do you think?

Kathleen if you don't feel a binder is necessary you don't have to do it! I find it helpful to keep things organized.

I love the binder idea... and started planning mine on day one. So many ideas!

I am still working on it and have been busy printing pages for just about everything... :)
I found some pastel colored tabbed file folders that I am using as dividers. By preadjusting the fold to neatly hold lots of pages, then punching the holes, there is no need to cut the folders and in this way the entire folder, with all its pages, can be easily removed for adding, removing, or simply using one segment of the binder without losing any pages.

I have also bee finding some cute scrapping paper for different topics: I have one that is perfect for "kitcheny" stuff, another for camping, one with herbs and another for the garden, etc.

Once I have it all assembled I post a photo.

Yes, working on the binder is really fun! So much fun that I just ran out of ink and paper. Oh well, pay day is Wednesday! Yippee! I'm having fun setting up the cook book too!

Hope to work on my binder this weekend. I want it all set by Monday so I can start adding the recipes and have a place for my Gratitude Journal. I am keeping it in Word and will print it out after July 15.

I have all the badge requirements in a binder but this gave me some ideas for adding a section for addresses and swaps :)

I did use folders for my dividers! I found a colorful pack of file folders at Marshalls for super cheap and cut them in half.

Thanks for the information Erin. I found a stack of folders I had leftover from who knows where but have now put them to good use in my binder. I am still working on it. I need to get in the craft room and see what pretty papers I have to use!
